The House of Dancing Water
An unmissable icon of Macau’s live entertainment scene, the multi-sensory spectacle The House of Dancing Water, located at City of Dreams, has received rave reviews from audiences and critics alike. Performed by a cast of nearly 100 international artists in a purpose-built 2,000-seat, 270-degree view theatre that includes a stage pool which holds 3.7 million gallons of water, the show features dazzling costumes and special effects designed by artistic director Franco Dragone.

The Monkey King
First introduced in 16th-century China in the novel Journey to the West, the Monkey King has appeared in countless forms, from opera to TV to film. The journey continues with Monkey King – a Mythical Theatre Show, a newly launched resident stage spectacular at the custom-built, 1,700 seat Sands Cotai Theatre, Sands Cotai Central. The Macau production is based on the original version and brings all the Chinese elements of myths, fairy tales, drama, comedy, slapstick, magic and other features in one spectacular show.

House of Magic
Take a mind-bending trip to the House of Magic, created and curated by world-famous illusionist Franz Harary. Featuring a seasonal, rotating lineup of international magicians, the three-theatre arena, which includes the 150-seat parlour magic theatres Majestic Theater and Lair Theater, plus the 300-seat Mega Magic Theater, allows visitors to move from one performance to another—for the price of just one show.

Ultra Heroes Acrobattle Live In Macao 2017
The Japanese science fiction TV series Ultraman debuted in 1966 and has grown into an empire that encompasses more than 30 television shows, dozens of films, video games, countless toys of the heroes and monsters and stage shows. Ultra Heroes Acrobattle Live In Macao 2017, billed as the largest Ultraheroes live show and playground extravaganza in Asia, employing live action, special effects and new 3D projection mapping technology, has a limited run at The Venetian Macao this summer. In addition to staged action between the Ultraheroes and Monsters, the event features a kid-friendly attractions including a go-kart race track, Asia’s longest indoor ski track, a train ride in a frozen environment, a bubble ball slide and an inflatable bed.

Viva La Broadway
Macau, which long ago displaced Las Vegas as the world’s top gambling city, shares some of its American cousin’s staples, including the classic Vegas showgirl presentation. Crazy Rouge, the Britain’s Got Talent-starring dance group who blend burlesque moves with the hits of Bruno Mars, Christina Aguilera and Beyoncé, headline a highly-entertaining variety show, Viva La Broadway, at Broadway Macau. Other star acts include Lasergirl, performed by Donatella Colucci from Italy in a show combining technology, dance and interactive light and lasers; 2 Perfect, which features a mix of choreography, comedy and quick costume changes; and Matt & Valentina, who bring their gravity-defying roller-skating act to Macau.

Macau’s ever-evolving entertainment scene continues to expand with three new resident shows at MGM Cotai, set to open in the fourth quarter this year. The Experience and Destiny will launch first at the USD$3.1 billion resort’s new 2,000-seat theatre, the world’s first to offer a 28-million-pixel screen, the size of three tennis courts combined. The Experience, inspired by Macau, is a 10-minute symphony that showcases the theatre’s engineering and architectural dexterity, while Destiny is an action-packed immersive theatrical production inspired by TV game shows and adventure video games.
