For one night only, Lai Heen's executive chef Bill Fu brings to the table degustation menu to celebrate Mid-Autumn Festival in style. The eight-course feast starts with Brittany blue lobster salad with crispy birch seed, cod fish fillet with fermented bean paste and chili and simmered bamboo piths stuffed with sweet corn and mashed green pea.
Chef Fu follows with courses of sautéed Wagyu beef with taro in black pepper sauce, braised Australian abalone with water caltrop and seasonal vegetables, and simmered seasonal vegetables with crab meat, peach purée and silver fish.. The gastronomic experience will end on a high-note with sago cream with star fruit, homemade egg yolk mooncake and baked persimmon puff.
